After two years of speculation, false starts and hand-wringing, the U.S. Department of Labor has finalized its much-anticipated overhaul of the nation’s overtime rules.

The DOL will raise the minimum salary threshold by 50%, from the current $23,660 to $35,568 per year ($684 per week). Over ONE MILLION WORKERS will be covered – and this change takes effect on Jan. 1, 2020.
